Business Listing or Event Listing on My Family Guide
My Family Guide is the perfect place to advertise your family-friendly business or event. Our readers and followers are always wanting to discover new or existing businesses that are kid-friendly. We have plenty of advertising options to fit every budget. Follow the steps below to create your business listing or your FREE EVENT LISTING and start advertising today.

STEP 1 – REGISTER/CREATE AN ONLINE ACCOUNT
A. Go to the homepage and scroll to the bottom of the page. Find the box labeled “Business Owner Login”. Below the box, click New User? Register Now.
B. After you click New User? Register Now, you will need to create an account. New users, use the RIGHT side. EXISTING users, use the LEFT side.
STEP 2 – ADD YOUR BUSINESS LISTING (EAT, STAY, PLAY, SHOP)
A. After you create your username/account, you will be brought back to the homepage. At the top of the homepage, click on ADD (Food, Entertainment, Lodge, Shop or Event) LISTING. Pick the listing type that fits your business best.
Please note – EVENT LISTINGS ARE FREE. SHOP LISTINGS usually consist of miscellaneous business listings such as: clothing stores, photographers, hair care, etc.
B. Once you pick your category, you will then begin your business listing information. Here is where you will pick the type of advertising package you would like and how often you want to be billed (monthly or annually). EXCEPT FOR EVENT LISTINGS, WHICH ARE FREE.
The right column gives details about each package and what it includes. Below the the Package Details it also give Quick Tips to enhance your listing.
STEP 3 – PREVIEW YOUR LISTING
A. After you enter your business listing information, you can preview what your business profile will look like. If you need to change anything, simply click the “Go back and edit” button to change any information.
B. Click on each “blue” tab to review your information.
C. If everything looks good, click “Confirm Preview & Go to Checkout”
STEP 4 – PUBLISH YOUR LISTING
A. At Checkout provide your billing information. If you have a coupon code, this is where you will enter it.
B. Click the button “Proceed to PayPal”. PayPal will withdraw funds from your account either monthly or annually, based on your previous selection. EXCEPT FOR EVENT LISTING, THEY ARE FREE.
C. After your funds have cleared through PayPal, your listing will be live on My Family Guide!! EVENT LISTINGS ARE FREE. NO CREDIT CARD IS REQUIRED TO POST YOUR EVENT.
